You can never have too many crisp white button down shirts…they work on so many levels. I certainly have obtained quite the collection over the years (and wear each one ALOT). BUT the most standout white shirt I have is this long-line version from H&M. And today I wanted to style it as a shirt dress — but realized it’s WAYYY too sheer. So I needed to layer something overtop. Since I am loving the idea of pairing a skirt with a long-line shirt for this season…

I tied my oversized gingham shirt around my waist & called it FABULOUS! Now my “skirt” is unconventional considering it’s actually a gingham shirt (how to here). BUT this outfit combo would be great paired with any short skirt you’re into for spring! What catches the eye with this skirt/shirt pairing is the long-line shirt peeking out below the skirt hem. It’s a fun way to update your workwear for the warmer season.
