Halloween…only the best holiday ever! I mean when else do you get to dress however you like and have an actual excuse/explanation for it? Sad to say, there will be no Halloween for me this year (but I did go to Bochum Oktoberfest yesterday). We don’t have any plans mainly because we’re new here and haven’t made friends yet (and also a little because we’re home-bodies and it’s cold).

If you live in Germany (near Bochum) and you’re reading this and you want to be friends, LET’S DO IT!

So this weekend in honor of Halloween (BOOOO! for it being on Monday this year) I wore this Jack-O-Lantern inspired outfit. Not only does it combine the festive colors that represent this magical holiday but a neckscarf AND vintage denim jacket…YAASSSS!

I love a great neck scarf…If you’re not that into this style, check out this post on alternative ways to sport this awesome accessory.

Tip: Give your style that “cool girl” vibe by draping your jacket over your shoulders instead of wearing your arms in the holes, ’cause who needs arm holes anyway.

Tip: If you LOVE an oversized vintage Levi’s denim jacket (and don’t want to drop $200) visit your local thrift stores. Sift through the men’s jackets, and I’m sure you’ll find one!

Halloween will surely be missed this year, but Oktoberfest was an amazing experience I’ll never forget! Check out my Oktoberfest adventures in my Travel Diary!
